Recipients of Good Governance, police medal winners declared

The department of administrative reforms has published names of winners of Chief Minister's Award for Good Governance, which will be distributed on August 15 during the Independence Day Function at 1st MR Parade Ground, Imphal.
A notification issued in this regard on Thursday informed all awardees in individual and team category to receive the award in person or by an authorised senior officer of the department concerned.
The winners in individual category are ADGP L Kailun for national highway security scheme & railway project; secretary to CM & state mission director of NHM Ningthoujam Geoffrey for overall coordination as secretary to CM & management of CM Relief Fund; joint secretary (finance) Neilenthang Telien for integrated financial resource management.
In the team category, the health department team will be conferred the award for their contributions in fighting the Covid-19 pandemic while other winners are home department for facilitation of stranded people during Covid-19 pandemic; Horticulture department team comprising P Vaiphei, Honeychara, K Devdutta Sharma, J Khongsai & N Loyalakpa for introduction of innovative & permanent farming system in place of Jhum Cultivation.
Jiribam district team comprising of DC W Malemnganba, SP M Mubi, CMO E Okendro, EE of PHED N Sadananda, DGM of MSPDCL W Anandkumar, EO Ng Kirankumar and M Surjit will also be awarded for bringing back stranded Manipuris.
The government will also present the award to Senapati district team comprising former DC Th Kirankumar, SP M Pradip, ADC A Adahrii Maheo, SDO Song Song Duna Duo, SDO Willong S Lunguiba Thangal & DFO John Sha for containing Dzuko wildfire and development of approach road to Dzuko valley base camp.
E-office team comprising director (IT) Nambem Deben, joint director (IT) Gurumayum Robert, deputy secretary (DP) Ayekpam Bidyarani & informatics officer Herojit Sanjenbam will be awarded for e-office application.
The team of TA&H director C Arthur Worchuiyo and CMO (health section) of TA&H Dr Vumkhoneh Haokip will also be honoured for running tribal centres in the remotest villages of the state, the notification informed.
The government has also declared the names of police officers and personnel who will be conferred medals by the state government on the occasion of Independence Day celebration.
SP Pherzawl Lakshay Sharma, Imphal PS officer in-charge inspector N Ingocha and Kakching district police WPC N Romila Devi will be awarded Chief Minister's Trophy for community service while Chief Minister's Trophy for anti-drug will be given to Imphal West SP S Ibomcha, Commando Bishnupur district OC in charge subedar Y Shaktisen and NAB head constable Y Ibotomba.
