15th Agape Prayer Fellowship conducted

Senapati, January 09 2022: The 15th Agape Prayer Fellowship, an annual prayer event, was held.at Traffic Point, Senapati under the theme "Prayer for Safety".

Addressing participants of the event organised by Senapati Karong Area Baptist Union (SKABU) under the sponsorship of Senapati District Motor Vehicle Owners Association (SDMVOA), SDMVOA president Ngaolu Robert stated that it was held for the safety of all vehicles in the district at the start of year.

The attendees included all vehicle owners, drivers and handymen of the district' .

He said the prayer programme could not be held in the previous year due to nationwide lockdown but thanked god for all protections till date.

Khabung Karong Baptist Church pastor Rev RL Tennyson, who was the main speaker of the event, pointed out that in sync with development, travelling and driving has become inevitable but reminded the gathering that "Life is short, don't make it shorter" .

He reminded the drivers to remember the saying that "Speed thrills but kills , and asked all not to mix drinking and driving so as to avoid any untoward incidents.

A special prayer was led by SKABU president Rev K Daniel with other reverends and church pastors for all the vehicle owners, drivers and handymen of Senapati.

Stickers inscribed with "God with Us" were also distributed to all the attendants and later pasted on the windshield of every vehicle.

The programme was held with strict maintenance of social distancing as part of government SOPs.
