Imphal, September 12 2026: A joint team of Churachandpur police and 2 JAK LI recovered arms and ammunition from Thangjing Range yesterday.

The operation was launched following inputs regarding the presence of arms and ammunition in the adjoining area between Nalon and Thinghi-jang village, said sources.

The security forces recovered two 82 mm mortars, one local made rocket, one MP5 Automatic Rifle with a scope, four 9mm Carbines with magazines, four Single Barrel guns, two Pistols with magazines, four Bolt Action Rifles, two mortar bombs, two pompis, four pompi shells, one radio set.
