Imphal, September 12 2026: A convoy of 103 loaded trucks carrying essential commodities and other goods moved from Jiribam towards Imphal.

Safe and secure movement of other vehicles has also been ensured, said police and added that Manipur Police along with Central forces remain committed to ensure safe passage for all.

The statement of the police came to put the record straight on the movement of vehicles on National Highway (37) .

In the statement, the police said 'It has come to notice that certain unfounded posts on social media are causing apprehension among drivers plying on NH-37,' and clarified that regular and unhindered movement of both loaded and empty vehicles, including passenger vehicles, continues on NH-37 with full security coverage.
