Police remove poster, banner and flags

Bishnupur, January 09 2022:
With the enforcement of election code of conduct, Bishnupur district police removed posters, banners and flags of political parties hoisted/put up along the roads in Nambol, Oinam, Bishnupur, Moirang.
Thanga and Kurnbi assembly constituencies.
Workers of intending candidates had hoisted flag, put up banners and pasted posters on electric poles and along Tiddim road and from Moirang Lamkhai to Wangoo.
They were removed following, instruction from EC! which has enforced code of conduct for the 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly elections.
Manipur will go to polls in two phases on February 27 and March 3 .
