Career counselling programme held

Nungba Company Operating Base (COB) of Noney Battalion under 22 Sector Assam Rifles and Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) organised a Career Counselling Programme at Taudaijang Village on Saturday to generate awareness about the Indian Armed forces.
As part of the programme an informal lecture was conducted, followed by an interactive session during which the young students were informed about the glorious history and timeless traditions of Indian Army and Assam Rifles as well as the types of entries to enrol and obtain commission in Indian Armed Forces.
The team of COB Nungba shared their experiences with the young students and made the event more interactive by clarifying all the queries raised by the students, regarding the procedure to join the Indian Army, Assam Rifles, other CAPFs and also other career options in leading organisations.
Information over upcoming Assam Rifles recruitment rallies were also provided to the attendees during the programme.
The young generation were also motivated to join the Indian Army and the Assam Rifles.
