Online submission for teachers' post from Nov 23

Imphal, November 17 2022:
Directorate of Education (S) has notified that in continuation of notification dated October 17, pertaining to engagement of 1000 posts of primary teachers on contract basis in the Education(S) Department, the online submission of application forms, relevant documents and registration fees will be from November 23 till January 16, 2023 .
Informing that forms may be submitted through official website of the Department www.manipureducation.gov.in or www.ptregistrationedusmanipur.com, Education (S) director L Nandakumar Singh informed that the mode of payment of examination fee will be remittance through online payment (debit card/credit card/net banking/UPI) only at the time of online form fill-up.
Relaxation of age for meritorious sports persons will be five years in case of general category, 10 years in case of ST/SC and eight years in case of OBC candidates, it added.
The notification continued that the last date of sponsoring of candidates by the employment exchange offices concerned, earlier fixed on November 17 has also been extended till January 9, 2023 .
The scheme of examination, syllabus and the date of examination for the recruitment will be notified later on.
The minimum percentage of marks in the graduation will not be applicable to those incumbents who had already taken admission to the Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Elementary Education or equivalent course prior to July 29, 2011 as per NCTE Notification issued on November 13, 2019, it further conveyed.
