Imphal, January 04 2022:
Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) president N Loken has alleged that the present BJP led coalition government in the state is becoming a government which takes 40 percent share.
N Loken made this allegation against the government during the inauguration of a newly constructed community hall at Ishok in Nambol AC where a political conference for Congress party was also held.
Addressing the gathering, N Loken said that various development works were taken up during the past 15 years of Congress rule led by O Ibobi Singh but the present BJP led government is still unable to take up new projects except inauguration of projects initiated by the then Congress government.
The past Congress government led by O Ibobi Singh was termed ten percent by opposition parties during the time but the present BJP led government is becoming 40 percent government, he said Before the 11th Manipur Legislative Assembly election, BJP published a Vision Document containing 10 key points but the party is still unable to translate them into action even a single point.
The present BJP led government initiated recruitment processes for various posts including IRB and collected huge money from candidates but the results remain undeclared till date thereby forcing many youths of the state to suffer depression, he said, adding that BJP government must be held responsible for this, According to Loken, government assets have gradually been privatised by BJP government and Imphal airport too has been privatised and this will deprive jobs of many youth of the state.
