PPF calls on the governor

Imphal, June 23 2015 :
Members of Pangal Political Forum (PPF) on Tuesday met Manipur Governor, Dr.Syed Ahmed and elaborated on different public issues.
AR Khan IAS Retd, Chief Advisor PPF, President Ahis Khan, Spokesperson MI Khan, Secretary Basir with Jabar also attended the meeting.
The Forum explained on the territorial disputes of Dz�kou and Moreh and suggested to let Centre swing into action at the earliest.
It also sought cooperation of the Governor and urged to advise the State Govt.to check looting the PDS items which is actually meant for poor public by MLAs.
It further demanded to advise the Govt.for the construct a shed at Murgi Market so that Pangals, which constitute nearly 10% of the State's population, could be benefitted.
The Forum also highlighted its urgent requirement of a College or a Higher Secondary School only for the girls of Muslim community at greater Imphal and urged to declare Pangals under the list of most backward community.
The Forum at the meeting also appealed to CSOs such as ATSUM, UNC not to impose strike or economic blockade on national highways when the Govt.fails to solve their issues.
Adding such blockades could result in unwanted incidents, it further urged to suggest and advise both the state and central govt.to bring a logical conclusion on the matter.
