UKLF clarifies on Aimol firing

United Kuki Liberation Front (UKLF) has refuted the allegation made by Aimol Women Society that the outfit's Pallel town commander and Finance Department functionary passed sneering remarks against the women at Aimol Satu playground on the April 16 evening.
In a press release, UKLF while terming the allegation as "false, fabricated and misleading", said that "none of our cadres" moved around in Bolero vehicle as alleged.
"We would like to sincerely state here that we never issued/authorised either the town commander or the finance department worker a Bolero vehicle or AK rifles, though SoO registered weapons were issued in exceptional cases for personal security", said UKLF.
UKLF advised the Aimol civil societies not to "implicate our organisatio in matters related to Aimol tribe internal crisis" and told them to resolve issues within themselves amicably for the sake of peaceful co-existence.
The outfit reminded that UKLF had the primary objective of reunification and has always considered Aimols as a unique tribe and expressed genuine concerns for the welfare of the people with good intentions.
