CMHA will benefit many in Kpi, says MLA Nemcha

Kangpokpi MLA Nemcha Kipgen has launched the Chief Minister's Health for All campaign in respect of Kangpokpi assembly constituency at Health and Wellness Centre, Kalapahar on Tuesday.
The launch ceremony of Health for All campaign organised by District Health Society, Kangpokpi was attended by MLA Nemcha as chief guest and CMO/DMD District Health Society Dr Lamkhoneng Haokip as president while SMD, NHM Manipur Dr N Shyamjai Singh, deputy director (health) SNO, CHMA Dr Y Premchandra Singh, Kalapahar Village Authority vice chairman Kedarnath Poudyal and and Keithelmanbi village chairman Dehlam Lhouvum were present as guests of honour.
The local MLA handed over ASH A plus devices, smartphones to CHOs, nurses and ASHA workers for the newly launched campaign after the keynote address and speech delivered by Dr N Shyamjai Singh and Dr Y Premchandra Singh.
Addressing the gathering, Nemcha Kipgen said that the Chief Minister's Health for All campaign was launched on October 14 to bring awareness among the general population of Manipur about the importance of regular health check-ups and the necessary assistance provided in this regard.
The campaign will ensure doorrto-door health screening for primary health care and chronic disease management under the National Health Mission and Directorate of Health Services of Manipur.
The screening will be done with a hand-held screening device attached to the patient and it will be connected with doctors at Command Centre by Telemedicine.
Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadhi medicines will be provided and delivered to the patients' homes free of cost along with further treatment under CMHT and PMJAY, she added.
In the first phase of Health for All campaign, 1628 villages in all 16 districts will be selected and these villages will be linked to 118 PHSCs, 29 PHC and 7 Community Health Centres, she explained.
MLA Nemcha Kipgen said that Prime Minister emphasises on health of the people considering Health is Wealth and introduced innovative ideas for the health benefit of all and state chief minister successfully launched the CM's Health for All scheme in the state.
As a mark of conveying gratitude to the Prime Minister for the innovative ideas and the CM for launching the campaign statewide, the local MLA also led the gathering in raising slogan for extending benefit of the scheme to the underprivileged section of the society in particular and all the eligible citizens in general.
