Cooch Behar Trophy Manipur suffer 6 wicket loss to Nagaland

Manipur went down by 6 wickets to Nagaland in the 5th and the penultimate plate group match of the ongoing U-19 Cooch Behar Trophy 2021-22 at Railway Stadium, Bhubaneswar.
Manipur, who succumbed to 50 for 9 (22.3 overs) in their first innings, faltered in the second innings and bundled out for 145 runs in 70.3 overs on Day 2 to give Nagaland an easy target of 116 runs.
The second innings collapsed was triggered by fierce bowling performances by Nagaland's Neizekho (4/50), Mughavi Sumi (3/28) and Keduowhetuo (2/4) despite Manglemba (34 off 97 balls) and Jotin Pheiroijam's (41 off 95 balls) effort to anchor well.
Nagaland then rode on Yugandhar's knock of 44 runs and Sujal Prasad's unbeaten 37 to ease to cruise to 116 for 4 in 29.4 overs.
The innings saw Manipur's Aziz Mirza (1/23), Rojit (1/29) and Robinson (1/30) finishing with a wicket apiece.
