UKAL, Uttra continue discussion for self-reliant state

Under the aegis of titular king Leisemba Sanajaoba, Umanglai Kangba Lup (UKAL) and Uttra along with religious bodies (Lai Thougal Lup) of different religious places (Laibung) continue to organise discussions on issues for ensuring a self-reliant state.
In a release, UKAL informed that the discussions were held at Lainingthou Santhong Apanba, Kumbi; Ima Ireima, Kumbi Haotak; Nongpok Ningthou Panthoibi, Setapur; Ima Heeyai Leima, Kumbi Uchal Makhong; Lainingthou Esing Chaiba, Kumbi; Ima Phouoibi, Kumbi Leirak Achouba; Ima Ireim, Thanga Lawai; Ibudhou Pakhangba, Kumbi Setapur; Ibudhou Awang Koubru, Kha Potshangbam Khunou; Sekmai Ningthou, Sekmaijing; Ikop Ningthou, Uchiwa Hayel; Ima Kalika Lairembi, Hangoon; Ibudhou Pakhangba, Uchiwa; Umanglai Mapal, Phougakchao; Ibudhou Wangbren, Sekmaijin Khunou; Ima Ireima, Komlakhong; Ima Ireima, Sekmaijin Khunou; Ima Kalika Lairembi, Laphupat Tera; Lainingthou Khamlangba, Laphupat Tera; Ima Phouoibi, Tera Khunou; Ima Phouoibi, Arong Khunjao; Ima Phouoibi, Arong Khunou; Ima Khoidum Lairembi, Khoidum; Lainingthou Nongsaba, Thanga Oinam; Ibudhou Chingningthou, Thanga Oinam; Ima Khwairakpam Lairembi, Thanga Oinam; Ibudhou Thanjing, Thanga Ithing; Ibudhou Chairellakpa, Thangga Chingkha; Ibudhou Khuman Pokpa, Karang; Ima Yumjao Lairembi, Heishnam and Ibudhou Thangarakpa, Thanga.
He informed that the discussion is being conducted on the first and full moon day of every Manipuri lunar month to rejuvenate the movement of making a self-reliant state by inculcating the habit of work culture and reflecting on the condition of contemporary society.
People should have the habit of saving money and stay away from addictive substances, he added.
Meanwhile, Chingu Arong Ningthou-Santrok Chaningkhombi Development Committee, in a release, informed that members of the committee will surely participate in the Ima Imoinu Iratpa celebration to be organised by UKAL at Koubru hill on January 3.The release further urged indigenous people to attend the ritual celebration at Koubru without fail and remember the stories of the cradle of civilisation.
