Imphal, February 21 2019:
As part of its continuous campaign to curb the menace of drugs abuse and alcohol, Coalition Against Drugs and Alcohol (CAD A) conducted an academic awareness programme on "Impact of drugs and substance abuse on students" at Covenant English School, New Checkon, today.
The programme was graced by Mathew Khawlum, Assistant Head Mistress, Covenant English School and Ningthoujam Doren, vice president, CADA as the presidium members.
Speaking as the resource person of the event, CADA's finance secretary Geetchandra Mangang urged all the students to refrain themselves from indulging in any activities related to drugs or substance abuse as it has the very potential to ruin their lives and society as a whole.
In the later part of the programme, a few copies of CADA's journal, "Health for future", which is released every after three*months, were handed over to the school authority.
