BSF top brass visits Manipur

The Commander of the Eastern Command (EC) of the Border Security Force (B SF), Sanjeev Kumar Singh, IPS Additional Director General BSF, made a three visit to Manipur (February 18 to 20) to take stock of BSF deployment in the State and to review security scenario and operational preparedness in the State, said a statement of Deputy Commandant, SHQ BSF CI (OPS) Manipur.
The statement conveyed that Sanjeev Kumar landed at Tulihal Airport on February 18 and was received by Sh Indra Kumar Mehta, IG, Subsidiary Training Centre, BSF Churachandpur and visited the centre.
The ADG witnessed various training activities and discussed on matter related to improvement of training of troops to keep up with the changing crime pattern across the country, it said and added that Sanjeev Kumar urged the commanders and troops of the centre to inculcate human approach while performing duties.
The ADG addressed a Sainik Sameelan and interacted with the troops yesterday before leaving for Tulihal Airport to proceed to Kolkata, it said.
