Imphal, October 19 2021: Paokholloi, a transport cum delivery service, will not levy any fare for transportation of womenfolk on the occasion of Ningol Chakkouba, which falls on November 6, as a gift to the women of the State.

Saikhom Ratanjit, proprietor of Paokholloi, said this at a press conference held at the office of Saikhom Enterprises at RIMS road today and added that the service will be available in areas within a radius of 6 kms from Imphal.

Transportation by e-rickshaw for womenfolks will be free of cost on the said day while cab service will be made available at 50% discount, he told the media.

Saikhom Ratanjit added that Paokholloi will also expand its operational area next year.

In order to make this possible, Paokholloi had organised an interaction programme with two e-rickshaw associations on October 17 which will be the partner for the said festive offer, he added.

Speaking at the press conference, Keisham Saratkumar, secretary Emoinu E-rickshaw Association, said Paokholloi is not just a profit oriented initiative but was established to provide a livelihood to numerous e-rickshaw drivers of the State.

It can be mentioned that Paokholloi is a fast pick-up and delivery service provider established by Saikhom Enterprises.
