MPCC mourns Langhring's demise

Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee has expressed its condolences over the sudden demise of former Chandel BCC member Langhu Langhring in an unfortunate road accident on Monday.
In a release, MPCC conveyed that a condolence meeting was held at Congress Bhawan on Tuesday which was attended by MPCC president N Loken Singh, general secretary (Org) L Tilotama, general -secretary (Admn) Hareshwar Goshwami, chiefs of frontals, departments, cells and party leaders.
The attendees also observed a two-minute silence and resolved to fly the Congress party flag at half-mast for one day at the Bhawan as a mark of respect to the departed leader.
MPCC also shared the grief and sorrow of the bereaved family and prayed that his soul rest in peace.
Former Chandel MDC Langhu Langhring (43), s/o late Kang of Chandel Sinadam, was among three persons who died on the spot and six were left injured when three cars banged into each other near Khangabok Sorojini Oil Pump in Thoubal district around 3 pm Monday.
Langhu's daughter Lh Harsh (20) and one Maibam Nabakumar (31), son of M Surchandra of Salungpham Mamang Leikai were the other victims of the accident.
