BJP committed to set up film industry in Manipur: Chaoba

With an aim to facilitate the unique culture of the State which is well known across the world, the BJP Manipur Pradesh is committed to set up a film institute here in the State.
Stating this during a public meeting at Hiranamei today held in connection with the ensuing Hiyanglam by-election, president of BJP Manipur Pradesh Th Chaoba said that the NDA Government had already taken up works for setting up of Sports University in the State as announced earlier.
Chaoba asserted that BJP Manipur Pradesh will urge the Central Government to set up a film institute at the earliest possible taking due consideration of the immense talents possessed by film artistes of the State.

Conceding that there are many renowned film artistes in the State whose artistic works are well appreciated both at national and international level, he slammed the government for failing to recognize and encourage those people who are working in the field of culture and cinema.
Every talented film artiste will be facilitated in many aspects once the film institute is set up in the State, Chaoba added.
Saying that condition of health care centers in hill districts are in dilapidated condition which is due to the lack of attention on part of the government, he exuded confidence that the NDA Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi will crack down on deep-rooted corruption in the State.
Chaoba went on to say that assets of Ministers of the State should be investigated and declare it publicly.
Renowned actress of the State namely Maya Choudhury and Binita were also present during the meeting.
