Claiming that Sadar Hills ADC chairman Haokholal Hangshing is no longer supported by majority of the members, vice-chairman Paojalet Touthang has asked the chairman to step down on moral ground.
After the expiry of one member, Sadar Hills has 25 members at present.
Out of them, 13 members have been camping since June last year to remove Haokholal Hangshing from the post of chairman.
They have been charging Haokholal with financial indiscipline while discharging his duties as chairman of Sadar Hills ADC.

However, the MPCC president is yet to initiate any action.
In view of the party's inaction, the dissidents approached the Court subsequent upon which a directive was issued on October 27 last year to decide the matter by holding trust vote.
"In the trust vote, I got 13 votes while the chairman got 12 votes", claimed Paojalet.
But the results of the trust vote have not been declared by ; the RO till date.
Since chairman Haokholal Hangshing no longer enjoys support of the majority, he should step down on moral ground, Paojalet reiterated.
Saying that Sadar Hills ADC strongly condemned the act of shooting ADC member Thangjamang Kipgen, the vice- chairman said that it looked like political conspiracy and sought the Government's attention to provide security escorts to Thangjamang Kipgen for a longer period.
"Although I was told by police that I may face threats since the dissident camp was opened.
