Imphal, February 10 2015:
Three bodies, blind-folded and the hands tied behind the back were recovered today around 5 pm from D Vaison cemetery located about half a kilometer from the village, local sources said, reports our correspondent from Churachandpur.
The bodies of deceased, suspected to be KIO/KIA cadres, were picked-up by a team of the district police QRT and philanthropic organization KKL later today.
KKL source identified the victims as Jangkholun s/o Letthong of Phaisat village, Manglemsem s/o Lamneilen of Zezaw village and Sontinpao s/o Thenthang of Lambulane.
The bodies have been deposited at the district hospital morgue here but the official identification and autopsy exercise will only be carried out tomorrow.
It may be noted that one Armstrong from KNO/KLA had warned in today's local paper a breakup group of the organization identified as KIO KLA saying they will not be forgiven even if they surrender or join other armed groups.
Today's killings are believed to have linked with the KNO KLA's warning.
