ZoRO appreciates re-unification move

Zo Re-unification Organization, Northern Zone (ZoRO, N/Z) has expressed its utmost appreciation to its Zo ethnic brothers from Chittagong Hill Tract of Bangladesh and Karbi Anglong district of Assam, informing that they have taken up positive moves and enthusiastic initiatives for obtaining membership and the will to "collective strive" with the ZoRO (N/Z) .
A statement of the organisation signed by its information and publicity secretary DJ William said that, subsequent upon the waves of awakening and realization of their roots, ethnicity and identity in the aftermath of "Celebration of Brother-hood" a Moreh Chavang Kut, 2014, and the recently-held "123nd Anniversary of the Chin-Lushai Confe-rence (Forth William, Calcutta, 1892)" at Kholmun village of Churachandpur district, the ZoRo (N/Z) has expanded its cabinet.
The expansion was held on February 8, 2015 at KIC office at Tuibuong of Churachandpur district and has inducted David Loyal Auheng as vice president (external) of Chittagong Hill Tract, Parai Rongphar as vice president (external) of Karbi Anglong of Assam and Bharat Ronghang as joint secretary of Karbi Anglong of Assam.
"The ZoRO (N/Z) envisions, and contem-plates, integration and re-unification of all the Zo ethnic people in India, Burma, Bangladesh and China," the statement said while urging all its kindred brothers to continue to strive collectively with new vigor and momentum to their end.
