NPF meets on peace process

Dimapur, February 10 2015:
The NPF Central Executive Council reiterated today its earlier stand on the Indo-Naga political issue to wholeheartedly support the ongoing peace process and political dialogue till an honourable solution is arrived at.
As summoned, the Central Executive Council of the Naga People's Front was held today at the Central office, Kohima.
The meeting was chaired by Secretary General KG Kenye.
The meeting congratulated TR Zeliang, the Chief Minister of Nagaland for winning the confidence motion in the trial of strength on Feb 5 at the special (emergent) Assembly session.
Meanwhile, the House also extended its appreciation to the Democratic Alliance of Nagaland (DAN) partners and also the Congress legislators for voting in favour of the NPF led DAN Government under the leadership of TR Zeliang.
It fully endorsed and support the leadership of the party president Dr Shurhozelie Liezietsu and Chief Minister, TR Zeliang.
Further, the meeting resolved to authorize the president Dr Shurhozelie Liezietsu and Secretary General KG Kenye to take any necessary steps as deemed fit before the Election Commission of India for and on behalf of the party.
CEC welcomed the NPF dissident MLAs for acknowledging the leadership of NPF under the president-ship of Dr Shurhozelie Liezietsu who have voted in line with the party directive.
