All Naga Students' Association, Manipur (ANSAM) has expressed appreciation to the initiative of the Parliamentary Core Committee on Naga Political Issue of Nagaland government for facilitating a reconciliatory process for the "Naga Political Groups" (NPGs) .
"We are grateful to all the Naga national political leaders for their leadership and standing firm and their willingness to hammer out differences towards an honourable and logical solution for our land and people," ANSAM said in a release.
The Naga students' body said it is concerned of the health of all the elders and leaders.
"We are deeply worried over the condition of our leader NSCN/GPRN Ato Kilonser Th Muivah who is presently undergoing treatment at CIHSR hospital, Dimapur" .
It also said that it is relieved to learn that his (Th Muivah's) health is "stabilizing at a good pace by the grace of God" .
In support and solidarity, ANSAM therefore, "fervntly" appealed all the constituent units, subordinate bodies, seniors of the association as well as every Naga to observe a one-hour prayer programme in their respective offices and homes on Friday for the speedy and full recovery of Th Muivah.
ANSAM also appealed to everyone to pray for an understanding between the NPGs and for the discerning hearts across the Naga political leaders and the Naga homeland.
