ICICI, NEDFi donate medical kits, ambulance

Imphal, July 29 2021:
Considering the prevailing situation of COVID-19, ICICI Foundation for Inclusive Growth (ICICI Foundation) along with ICICI Bank handed over one medical Ambulance, 51 oxygen concentrators of 5-litre capacity and 50 D-type oxygen cylinders to the Directorate of Health Services, of Manipur on Thursday.
The ambulance was flagged off by chief minister N Biren in the presence of officials and staffers of ICICI Bank and ICICI Foundation for Inclusive Growth.
The ambulance is equipped with power backup wherever required through UPS or Rooftop Solar with battery.
The Oxygen concentrators will be provided to CHCs, PHCs, etc, in different districts of the state.
ICICI Foundation, CSR arm of ICICI Group, is providing maximum support towards the state government in the fight against Covid-19 pandemic.
Ningthoujam Geoffrey, who is secretary to the CM and deputy secretary P Gojendro Singh were also present on the occasion.
On the other-hand, the North-Eastern Development Finance Corporation Limited (NEDFi) under its CSR initiative donated Rs 15 lakh to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund for upgrade of Oxygen infrastructure in the state.
The donation amount was received by CM N Biren.
