Observation Committee extends gratitude

The Observation Committee, 21st The Great June Uprising, Unity Day 2022 has extended their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated in the observation function of the historic day as well as those who made the function possible.
A statement issued by Dr Norendro Thokchom, Convenor, Observation Committee has extended hearty thanks to Transport Association and All Manipur Sound Association for their contribution and efforts as well as the print and electronic media for informing the general public at large about the day's event.
The statement further thanked the staff of RIMS, JNIMS and members of Red Cross Society, Imphal West who played a vital role in managing the blood donation camp organised by the Observation Committee along with the people who voluntarily donated blood at the camp.
The Observation Committee also expressed their gratitude to Imphal West Deputy Commissioner for granting permission to organise the day's event and Manipur Police and Traffic Police for successfully managing the huge crowd of people who made their way to Kekrupat to pay their respects.
The statement also conveyed their appreciation to those who contributed monetarily to make the 21st The Great June Uprising, Unity Day observation possible, provided drinking water during the event, Forest Environment & Climate Change, Imphal Municipal Corporation who were responsible for cleaning the observation site at Kekrupat, Keny Tent House, Salanthong and various performers who presented their skills and crafts including members of Huyen Lallong Manipur Thang-Ta Cultural Association, Irilbung, Surti Sangam, Roop Raga etc.
Lastly, the Observation Committee has shared that they will no longer be accepting assistance from the public in connection with the observation of the 21st The Great June Uprising, Unity Day.
