Holding banners against the 'anti-tribal' Bills and shouting slogans, the womenfolk began their march from the district hospital campus and called for healing the hills of Manipur by withdrawing the Bills.
The JAC's mass prayer planned to mark the 100th day of the protest meanwhile began around the same time as the rally with hundreds of people, but mainly male, turning up at Lamka public ground where the JPO convenor Mangcha Thangjom lead a ceremonial tribute to the 'nine martyrs' and Rev Dr Lalhmuoklien, Rev Dr Ginneihthang Ngaihte and Rev Dr Kh Khaizakham took turns in addressing the gathering alongside the JAC Chief Convenor H Mangchinkhup.
