Birkumar will attend global warming-monitoring greenhouse influx programme

Imphal, December 09 2015:
Dr Huidrom Birkumar Singh, Principal Scientist of the CSIR-NEIST Branch Laboratory, Lamphelpat, Imphal will attend a training programme on global warming-monitoring greenhouse influx from natural and agro ecosystems at the Chengdu Institute of Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences from December 15 to December 31.The programme was organise by Chengdu Institute of Biology (CIB) and International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD) sponsorship of Bureau of International Cooperation, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Dr Birkumar will deliver on the topic "human dependence on wetland plant resource in Manipur, Northeast India: Exploitation, linkages and future challenges" .
He was working on biodiversity and global worming in Northeast particularly in Manipur.
