Most of the DBTL consumers under Mani, Thoubal Gas Agency, Thoubal district have received just one/two subsidised domestic LPG refills so far for this year.
The distributor has about 10560 active consumers.
Among them, about 9071 are DBTL consumers.
Over 5000 DBTL consumers have received just two subsidised domestic LPG refills each since April this year while about 2258 consumers have received just a single subsidised domestic LPG refill each during the same period.
Ironically, three DBTL consumers have received nine subsidised LPG refills each since April this year.
The consumers who have received nine each subsidised LPG refills are Consumer No CX 22938583 Md Alimuddin, Consumer No 17707 Ningombam Ibe Devi and Consumer No 20232 Laishram Raja.
For the nine LPG refills, Rs 2060.32 was credited to the bank account of Md Alimuddin as subsidy amount, Rs 1098.58 credited to the bank account of N Ibe while Rs 2535.32 is credited to the bank account of Laishram Raja.
Moreover, 46 consumers under the same distributor have received eight refilled LPG cylinders each while 103 consumers have received 7 subsidised LPG refills each since April this year.
149 consumers have received six refilled subsidised LPG cylinders and 111 consumers have received five subsidised LPG refills each.
The total number of consumers who have received 5 to 9 subsidised LPG refills is 400.For availing subsidised LPG refills to these 400 selected consumers, Mani, Thoubal Gas Agency has been included in the 'excellent' category among distributors during the period starting from October-December this year.
Although the agency has distributed refilled LPG cylinders to those consumers who booked till August 10, 2015, the IOC record maintained that those consumers who have done booking upto Dec 1 have availed the LPG refills.
Like Mani, Thoubal Gas Agency, records have been manipulated by GBD Indane, Canchi Indane Service and Khumbong Indane Gramin Vitrak.
The authority concerned is yet to rectify the manipulation of records so far.
There are about 64 LPG distributors in the State.
There have been numerous complaints about the distributors not attending to the documents/applications seeking new LPG connections.
However, the record maintained by the IOC said that there is no pending applications for new LPG connection in respect of Mani, Thoubal Gas Agency.
