Two thieves held

Imphal, June 20 2014 :
Two non-local men who reportedly stole goods from embroidery centre Ketawn located at Yumnam Leikai Nambul Mapal and a work place have been apprehended.
The two thieves have been identified as Keilash Kumar Das (24) s/o Sarimdas and Ranjit Kumar Singh (31) s/o Ram Kripal.
Both are natives of Bihar.
While Keilash has been staying in a rented room at Takhel Khongbal, Ranjit has been working at Ketawn as a computer mechanic for the past four years.
It is reported that many articles have been missing from Ketawn since the past few years.

At around 12 pm of June 18, Ranjit stole a computerised machine from Ketawn and handed it over to Keilash and the whole scene was captured on CCTV camera.
Subsequently, the two thieves were pulled up, said the Ketawn proprietor.
The two were handed over to FREINDS volunteers who in turn handed them over to police.
