Restriction imposed by the Kabui Mothers' Association, Manipur (KAMA) to organise tambola game (housie) in Rani Gaidinliu's name for fund raising purpose by any individual or group has been relaxed after KAMA and Haipei Rani Gaidinliu Football Committee came to an understanding, conveyed a statement issued by the executive secretary of Zeliangrong Union (Assam, Manipur and Nagaland) .
The statement asserted that the decision was taken during the joint meeting held under the supervision of ZU (AMN) on October 13 .
It added that the meeting resolved to give due recognition to Haipei Rani Gaidinliu Football Committee by ZU (AMN) subject to the approval during the next Union Assembly and that the Committee should function under the umbrella of Zeliangrong Sports Association.
The meeting also resolved to incorporate some members of KAMA in Haipei Rani Gaidinliu Football Committee with an aim to organise State and National Level Women Football tournament in future.
The statement further informed that any fund raising activity of the Committee should be done in consultation with the apex bodies ZU and KAMA if required.
