COHSEM convenes meeting for smooth conduct of upcoming exams

The Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (COHSEM) convened meetings of stakeholders, supervising officers, officer in-charge and inspection cum flying squad team members in connection with the upcoming Higher Secondary Examination 2023 .
A press release by COHSEM secretary Ch Biren informed that the meetings have been convened with an aim to conduct the Class XI and XII examinations in an efficient manner.
On February 10, 2023 a meeting was held at COHSEM conference hall at Babupara chaired by Takhellambam Ojit, COHSEM Chairman in the presence of secretary Ch Biren and Controller A Sukumar.
The meeting was attended by representatives of CSOs and student bodies.
On the next day, a meeting of supervising officers and officers in-charge was held at Johnstone Higher Secondary School where the participants were sensitized about their role and responsibilities.
Meanwhile a meeting of officers in-charge in connection with the upcoming Class XI examinations was held.
For today, an awareness meeting of inspection cum flying squad team members was held at Johnstone Higher Secondary School where the roles and responsibilities of the members were discussed at length.
A total of 229 teachers from 20 colleges and 35 Higher Secondary schools attended the said meeting.
With regards to the above meetings, COHSEM Chairman Takhellambam Ojit sought support and cooperation from all for the successful conduct of the upcoming Class XI and XII exams.
It may be noted that a total of 36, 666 students will write in the Higher Secondary Examinations 2023 which are scheduled to begin from February 23, 2023 till April 1, 2023 .
Preparations are being done to conduct the exams in 120 examination centres.
