92 new cases, 1 death reported

Imphal, February 14 2022:
Ninety two new cases, one death and a daily positivity rate of 5.7 percent defined the Covid situation in the last 24 hours in Manipur.
With the addition of 92 more cases, the cumulative figure of the infected persons has risen to 1,35,930 including 4997 Central security personnel and the number of persons claimed by the virus to 2084 .
The deceased who hailed from Bishnupur suffered from co-morbidities and was fully vaccinated.
On the other hand a total of 151 persons were discharged during the last 24 hours from home isolation (96), RIMS (4), JNIMS (9) and CCCs (42) .
The recovery rate is 96.84 percent.
The 92 new cases were detected while testing at RIMS (5), JNIMS (9) and other testing centres (78) .
The new cases are from Imphal East (19), Imphal West (36), Thoubal (9), Bishnupur (9), Kakching (2), Kangpokpi (1), Ta-menglong (6), Tengnoupal (1), Ukhrul (1), Noney (1), Senapati (3), Chandel (2) and Churachandpur (2) .
All necessary medical measures including contact tracing and containment are in place, claimed the COVID-19 Common Control Room in a statement.
With the addition of 92 more cases, the number of active cases is now 2209 inclusive of 63 Central security personnel.
On February 13, a total of 2560 vaccines were administered taking the grand total of vaccinated people to 26,31,290 including 10,96,169 with the second dose and 49,796 precautionary dose.
A total of 302 D Type Oxygen cylinders and 67 B Type Oxygen cylinders were made available to different health centres across the State on February 13 .
