TNAI, Manipur State Branch condemns

Imphal, June 13 2021: The Trained Nurses Association of India (TNAI), Manipur State Branch strongly condemned the unfortunate incident where a doctor on duty allegedly assaulted a nurse at Covid Ward of JNIMS on June 9 .

In a press release, TNAI Manipur State Branch said that such an act is against the professional ethics.

Further the Association lauded Manipur Government and JNIMS Authority for taking up timely disciplinary action against the doctor thereby suspending him.

It continued that one will be able to attend the patients properly when all the members of health care teams work in harmony and extending full cooperation and support to one another.

Also the Association appealed to all to ensure that such incidents do not happen in future.
