Hybrid paddy seeds provided to Noney farmers

Noney, June 13 2021:
Noney Legal Aid Clinic para-legal volunteer (PLV) and Spring Charitable Trust member Golmei Pouhoilung provided hybrid paddy seeds (Phoudi) to some villagers of Longmai (Noney) who were unable to get paddy seeds in view of restrictions imposed due to COVID-19 pandemic.
Due to COVID-19 induced lockdown, some farmers/ villagers of Longmai (Noney) could not travel to Imphal to procure paddy seeds even as sowing season has approached.
Seeing plight of these villagers, Pouhoilung went to Imphal and visited several places in the state capital to get quality paddy seeds for the villagers.
Apart from this, Pouhoilung had distributed edible items and medicines to elderly people as well as widows and poor people of Noney area both during the first and second wave of COVID-19 pandemic.
The medicines were distributed in coordination with Faitheal Biotech Pharma Company Pvt Limited.
Meanwhile, villagers thanked the PLV of Noney Legal Aid Clinic for procuring paddy seeds at this difficult time of Covid-19 pandemic when nobody wants to venture out of their homes.
