MAKKA gets new officer bearers

Imphal, December 29 2023: K Baruni of Imphal West district (LM) has been elected as the new president of the Manipur Amateur Kho-Kho Association (MAKKA) for the new term of four years along with 15 other executive council members during the general body meeting of the association held today.

During the meeting cum election of the office bearers, L Manao of Thoubal district (LM) was nominated as the new chairman while Ok Budha of Thoubal district KKA, L Subha of SESU and L Bijen of YSA were elected as new vice presidents.

M Madhusudon of Thoubal dist (LM) was in the meantime elected as general secretary of the association and H Koireng of the same unit was elected as the new treasurer.

Three joint secretaries- M Manglem of SCEO, H Premkumar of IEDKKA, Kh imo of CHMYDA; three assistant secretaries- Y Sarat of DMRAO, Th Bimol of RUC-Tbl, and Sh Boboy of SCEASDO and four executive members- M Himat of Kakching district, Kh Brajakumar of CYSA, N Manihar of SHGIRCS and Th Tunanbi of SSYC were also elected during the election.

The day also saw the association felicitate the State players who were crowned overall champions in the 23rd NE Zone Sr Men and Women's Kho C'ship 2022-23 held in March this year.
