KSDO, UCC, KCC & WYC register wins in Luwangpokpa T-20 Trophy

Imphal, December 29 2023:
KSDO, UCC, KCC and WYC emerged the victors in Friday's fixtures of the 4th MNCA Luwangpokpa T-20 Trophy.
KSDO clinched a commanding 8-wicket win over OSCAR in their league match at Moijing Public Ground, Thoubal.
The winning side bowled out OSCAR in 18.4 overs for 66 after the latter opted to bat.
Md Riyajuddin picked up 3 wickets while Shajahan, Khushru Pravez and Sangomshumpham Shah Nawaz each took 2 wickets, with Lakimbur adding a wicket in KSDO's bowling attack.
In OSCAR's innings, Sorokhaibam Samson (17), Ringku Kangujam (16) and Lann Naorem (10) were run-getters in double digits.
In reply, KSDO comfortably chased down target in 7.4 overs courtesy of Md Arif Khan (30), Khushru Pravez (23 not out), Reehaj (7) and Abdul Rafique (4 not out).
In the process, they lost 2 wickets to Sorokhaibam Samson.
KCC, meanwhile, thumped TCMDC by 7 wickets at Lairenjam Public Ground.
Electing to bat, TCMDC, were all out for 83 in 18.2 overs.
Singthoi Singh Nandeibam was the chief destroyer for KCC.
He scalped 5 wickets while Yumnam Sheiteendra Singh and Nameirakpam Arbin Singh claimed 2 wickets apiece, with Keisham Basantakumar Singh contributing one.
KCC then knocked off the target in 13.5 overs with contributions from Rohen Singh (28), Ningombam Tony Singh (15 not out), Nongmaithem Dijaraj Singh (14) and Hijam Boba Singh (13 not out).
The winning side lost 3 wickets in their chase.
WYC beat IBSA by 69 runs at Public Ground, Khangabok Part-III Cherapur, Thoubal.
WYC chose to bat and scored 129/9 as Borish Khomdram (33) and Thoudam Roshankumar Singh (23) led the innings.
They then produced a lethal bowling spell to wipe out IBSA's batting order in 15.4 overs for a meagre 43.WYC's stellar bowling performance saw Mangi Sharma Gotimayum and Huirongbam Biteshwor Singh pick up 3 wickets each while Borish Khomdram, Thoudam Roshankumar Singh and Ruhit Nongmaithem each contributed one wicket.
In their chase, only Heromen Singh Ningthoujam (11) and Pravesh (10) managed to reach double figures.
UCC, on the other hand, registered a 40-run victory against AKSDO at Luwangpokpa Cricket Stadium.
Electing to bat, UCC posted a total of 167/5 courtesy of Bicky Kumar Das (42), Leishangthem Bishorjit (38) and Thangjam Anson Singh (29).And then, they halted AKSDO's chase at 127/8 to seal the win.
For, Leishangthem Bishorjit and Laishram Bhuson Singh took 2 wickets each as Bicky Kumar Das and Konsam Gulson Singh bagged one each.
