T-20: Easy wins for TCMDC, YWC & Blue Hawk

Imphal, January 10 2024:
TCMDC, YWC and Blue Hawk won their respective matches with ease in the 4th MNCA Luwangpokpa T-20 Trophy on Wednesday.
TCMDC hammered THAU by 9 wickets in a league match played at Public Ground, Khangabok Part-Ill Cherapur, Thoubal.
Electing to bat, THAU could only manage 106 after being bowled out in 19.3 overs.
In the innings, Diamond (40) was the lone performer for the Thangmeiband side.
Thongam Tuljit Singh led the scalping for TCMDC, claiming 4 wickets as N Arbin Singh and Kongbrailatpam Kalyan Sharma took 2 wickets each, with Anuj Kharel contributing one.
In their chase, TCMDC eclipsed THAU's total in 10.1 overs with the help of Moirangthem Sunanda Singh, who smashed 50 off 30 balls, and Maibam Ashokumar, who hit 38 off 27 balls.
In the chase, Ashokumar was dismissed by Khumukcham Romesh Singh.
YWC notched up a dominant 5-wicket win over PCC at Lairenjam Public Ground, Imphal.
PCC chose to bat first and made 153/9 with contributions from Thokchom Anand Singh (35), Bobby Meitei Khangembam (31), Huidrom Dhanashyam Meitei (23) and Takhelmayum Vikash (15) .
For YWC, Maibam Subash Singh grabbed 3 wickets, Ngangbam Bishwash Singh and Pukhrambam Prakashmani Singh got two apiece, and Heisnam Manikanta Singh took one.
YWC took 18.4 overs to chase down the target for the loss of 5 wickets as Ngangbam Bikramjit Singh led from the front with a fine knock of 68 off 55 overs, aided by efforts from Ngangbam Bingson Singh (26), Pukhrambam Prakashmani Singh (20 not out) and Maibam Subash Sing (7 not out) .
In their chase, two of YWC's wickets fell to L Chingkheihunba Meitei and one each to Chingakham Ranjan Singh, Mathurabashimayum Jobanta Sharma and Longjam Gibson Singh.
Blue Hawk beat OSCAR by 46 runs at Moijing Public Ground, Thoubal.
Blue Hawk scored 158/8 after opting to bat first.
In their innings, Becker Roy impressed with an unbeaten 70 off 31 balls.
The other contributors in the innings were Dijen Singh Naorem (17), Mutum Sudhir Singh (16), Nongthombam Ajit Singh (16) and Ningombam Jackiechan Singh (14) .
They then stopped OSCAR's run chase in 18.3 for 112 .
Mintu Chandra claimed 4 scalps while Samsung Meitei Heisnam and Becker Roy picked up 2 wickets each, with Ningombam Jackiechan Singh and Nameirakpam Lelil taking one apiece in Blue Hawk's comfortable victory.
In OSCAR's chase, Nongmaithem Bijendro Singh made a fighting 42 in vain.
Meanwhile, IBSA were given a walkover against SDC.
