Manipur were 363/7 at stumps on Day 2 to take a 217 run first innings lead against Mizoram in a Vijay Merchant Trophy Plate Group Semi-Final tie as T Nganba remained unbeaten on 53 after Danish struck a crucial ton and Donba, Rain scored half centuries.
Resuming the second day with yesterday's figures of 64/1 (in 22 overs) at JSCA Oval Ground in Ranchi, Hanjabam Donba and Sougaijam Robinson gathered 34 runs for the second wicket before Robinson was caught out for 15 runs off Zodina's bowling.
Donba added 29 more runs to his tally today before being cleaned up by Ramsanga for the third wicket as the scoreboard read 130 in 42.1 overs.

Rain, who came in at four, saw Tomsan and Naesh depart cheaply but found a good partnership in Md Danish for the 6th wicket to stitch together 59 runs before Hmingthana had him removed at 58 .
The most flourishing partnership came up late as Md Danish and T Nganba forged a staggering total 104 runs off 187 balls for the 7th wicket but Dinpuia broke the partnership by dismissing Danish for 107 runs (off 136 balls; 18 fours) .
T Nganba then took charge of the batting and were unbeaten on 53 (off 162 balls) with Bisal Ningomba 21 not out to help Manipur post 363/7 in 114 overs at Stumps.
Yesterday, Mizoram were bowled out for 146 runs in 73.3 overs of their first innings despite a half century from Zira.
Manipur's Rain enjoyed a four wicket haul (4/39 in 12.3 overs) in the innings as Md Danish and Naesh Hussain shared four wickets among themselves.
