Ashram celebrates Makar Sangkranti

Imphal, January 16 2024:
Hindus, Christians, Muslims and Buddhists with good representation of Brahmakumaris gathered at The Divine Life Society's Jivan Shanti Ashram at Langol to reiterate that the common goal of all religions is love for all and peace, on the occasion of Makar Sankranti, on Monday.
Speakers highlighted the need to strengthen inter-religious and inter community bonds in the midst of wars and violence in the state.
The goodwill and spiritual consciousness generated by the gathering had an assuaging effect on the minds of the participants who carried pains of recent communal violence in the state.
