AR conducts mock test, distributes potato seeds

Assam Rifles of Inspector General Assam Rifles (South) organised a mock test for the aspirants of upcoming SSC-GD written exam on January 15, 2024 at Assam Rifles Camp Sendra, Bishnupur district.
The mock test introduced the exam format, teach time management, boost self-confidence and also to identify one's strengths and weaknesses.
A total of 39, including nine women, aspirants from 10 villages of Bishnupur district attended the coaching classes cum pre-recruitment training.
The training capsule also imparted knowledge about the procedures of recruitment, various activities involved and their queries were addressed, said a PRO IGAR (S) release.
On the other-hand, Assam Rifles of IGAR (South) distributed winter harvesting potato seeds to the needy and stranded people of Chakap village, Chandel district on Tuesday.
The relief programme was organised by Assam Rifles in continuation of its efforts for exemplifying compassion and support during challenging times.
Two bags of potato seeds were distributed to the farmers to support the village fulfil their domestic needs and achieve financial goals.
Around 63 families received the assistance and an awareness was given to increase the agricultural productivity in the region.
Meanwhile, Assam Rifles conducted an essential services medical camp under its Civic Action Program (ARCAP) at T Minou village, Tengnoupal district, on January 15 .
The camp provided essential healthcare services to 210 villagers including 94 women and 67 children from T Minou.
