Thoubal, December 02 2023: JNVSA Alumni Group on Saturday extended monetary assistance of Rs 77,000 to Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Sandumba Achouba (JNVSA), Umathel, Kakching district 10th batch student Thangjam (o) Romibala, wife of Thangjam Ahaljao of Moreh Ward No 5, who is taking shelter in a relief camp set up at Wangjing Kodompokpi Sports Complex.

The aid was provided as her husband is suffering from liver cirrhosis and the couple have to spend more than Rs 9000 per month on buying medicines.

The amount was handed over by JNVSA Alumni Group team led by its publicity secretary Rosan Moirangthem to Romibala at the said relief camp.
