ASUK condoles

The Alliance for Socialist Unity Kangleipak (ASUK) has condoled the demise of MYL Captain Moirangthem Uttam alias Tamba (42) s/o late Krishnamani of Pallel Ma-mang Leikai, Kakching dis- trict and Corporal Ning-thoujam Kokoba alias Mangal (28) s/o N Kumar of Sarik Mamang Leikai, Kakching district.
Offering revolutionary salute to the two revolutionary fighters who were killed in a battle with adversary forces, ASUK has conveyed solidarity to the bereaved families.
According to a press release issued by ASUK publicity committee convenor S Mangal, Tamba joined KYKL in 1998 and soon completed basic military training at Khoubum.
Tamba was a polite, respectful, well-discipline and courageous revolutionary soldier.
He was also an enthusiastic sportsman.
Tamba often served as the commander of the combined forces of fraternal revolutionary groups of Kangleipak and WESEA, it said.
Captain Tamba was leading a combined team of the revolutionary soldiers of allied revolutionary groups when Kuki narco-terrorists ambushed them and killed the two of them, it said.
Corporal Mangal joined KYKL in July 2017 and completed basis military training at Taka, Myanmar.
Like Captain Tamba, Corporal Mangal was also a spirited revolutionary soldier who had high hopes for the future.
The demise of the two spirited revolutionary soldiers is an irreparable loss for not only KYKL but also for the whole WESEA region, it said.
