Tamenglong, March 03 2024: Tamenglong Battalion of Assam Rifles celebrated National Science Day on February 28 with the school students of Lanmei village in Tamei and eight villages of Tousem sub-divison of Tamenglong district.

A poster making competition was held on the theme "Development in Science" for Class VI to IX students, said a press release.

124 students from Government Higher Secondary School of Langmei village and 62 students from eight villages of Tousem Sub-Division participated in the competition.

Students with the best posters were awarded certificates and prizes.

In addition, a motivational lecture was held to help students to develop an interest in science.
