New marking system under NEP soon: Minister

Education minister Th Basantakumar has informed that efforts are on to change the marking system presently in use in the examination conducted by the Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BSEM) within a year or two.
The minister was speaking during the closing function of the 10th Unique Free Revision Course, 9th Course and the coaching for students who are to appear in the ensuing class X examination, at Ningthoukhong Higher Secondary School, on Sunday.
Speaking at the function was organised by All Brothers Committee, Ningthoukhong at the private residence of works minister Govindas Konthoujam, minister Th Basantakumar stressed that teachers and parents need to play a great role as the students prepare for the class X board exams.
Presided over by Govindas Konmthoujam, the function was also attended by All Brothers Committee advisor T Nabachandra.
Cash prizes were also distributed to the students who secured over 80 percent at the 9th revision course of Unique Free Revision Course.
