Wildlife preservation camp organised

Indian Army under the aegis of Spear Corps organised "Wildlife Preservation Camp and Ethnic Competition" in various schools of Bishnupur district from March 1 to 3 to foster the spirit of preservation of rich wildlife and ethnic culture of Manipur.
According to a statement, students of different age groups from various schools actively participated in the painting and ethnic dance competition which was aimed to ignite the spirit of conservation of rich flora and fauna of Manipur and ethnic heritage.
A total of 350 children from various schools participated in the camp where children from all schools were dressed in t-shirts and caps.
The Indian Army Division also awarded medals and certificates of appreciation to the winners and runner ups of the competitions on the eve of World Wildlife Day on March 3 .
