Lions Club sets up booth for IPPI

Imphal, March 03 2024:
The Lions Club of Imphal, Lions International District-322D, on Sunday set up a polio booth at its Service Centre in Sangaiprou to administer polio vaccine to children under the age of 5 years.
According to a release issued by Manas Maisnam, secretary, Lions Club of Imphal, the booth was opened to support the National Immunization Day & Intensified Pulse Polio Immunization Programme (IPPI), 2024 conducted by the Directorate of Family Welfare Services, Government of Manipur .

Speaking on the occasion, Manas Maisnam expressed gratitude to the Directorate of Health & Family Welfare Services for associating with Lions Club of Imphal in the important nationwide programme.
He continued that the Club is actively considering to take up this programme as a Permanent Project.
As part of the event, Lions Club of Imphal also distributed Diabetes and e-Waste Awareness pamphlets to the parents of the children.
