CRPF awarded Rajbhasha shield, certificate

The Central government has presented Rajbhasha Shield and certificate to office of the IG (Manipur and Nagaland Sector), CRPF for best implementation of official language Hindi.
A statement issued by DIG, M&N Sector CRPF, Imphal informed that the Sector HQ under the leadership of IG Akhilesh Prasad Singh, has created a milestone by achieving first position for the year 2022-23 amongst 2500 Central government institutions in the North-East region in implementation of Hindi.
Union minister of state for home affairs Nishith Pramanik presented.the Rajbhasha Shield to DIG (adm) R Duidang, and the certificate to AC (OL) Jitendra Singh at the Regional Official Language Conference held in Siliguri, West Bengal on March 8.Beside the aforementioned achievement, the CRPF office is also in the race of securing first position amongst the 65 Central government offices situated in Imphal City under Town Official Language Implementation Committee (TOLIC).
The statement attributed improvement in the official work in Hindi language in the last two years to efforts of Hindi officer Jitendra, all senior officers and staff of Manipur & Nagaland Sector HQ, CRPF, Imphal.
The percentage of Hindi work in the Sector office has increased from 65 per cent to 81.67 per cent during the two-year period from 2021 to 2023, the statement added.
