ISA to offer tributes to Senjam Chirang victim

Imphal, June 30 2023:
while informing that Waikhom Nilakamal alias Boi -cha (40) s/o Boiyai of Kong-pal Khaidem Leikai, who was killed by Kuki militants in Senjam Chirang on Thursday, will be interred on Saturday, Industrious Students' Association (ISA) has appealed all to join in offering floral tributes so that his soul rest in peace.
In a press meet at ISA office at Kongpal Lai Hiden on Friday, Association general secretary M Ton said that W Nilakamal worked as a merchant navy and was home on holiday.
He had gone to deliver relief materials to a relief camp on Thursday but was shot dead by Kuki militants.
He (Nilakamal) will be interred on Saturday around 9am, after collecting his lifeless body from JNIMS.
As such, Ton appealed to the people to offer floral tributes to Nilakamal along the route so that his soul may rest in peace, while further appealing to the government to contain the violence in the state as Soon as possible.
