Meira Paibis submit memorandum urging Chief Minister to not resign

A large number of Meira Paibis from different parts of Sekmai Assembly Constituency today visited the residence of Social Welfare Minister Heikham Dingo Singh and submitted a memorandum to the Minister's wife H Sita Devi requesting Chief Minister N Biren Singh to not resign from his post as CM of Manipur.
The Meira Paibis shared that the people of Manipur cannot accept the resignation of N Biren Singh during this crucial juncture, said a release.
They asserted that the people of Manipur do not want President Rule (PR) in the State and have complete faith in the CM.
"It is not the time for the CM to be disheartened.
Thousands of mothers from across the State will come forward to support the CM.
So, N Biren Singh should not resign at any cost", they added.
Highlighting the people of Manipur will always stand behind the CM, Meira Paibis urged N Biren Singh to continue fighting for the people of the State.
