'High time for likeminded communities to fight in tandem'

It is high time for the communities who stand for the integrity of Manipur to unite and fight in tandem against the external divisive forces, said Kangleipak Minority Welfare Organisation (KMWO) president Md Nasir Khan.
He was speaking during an awareness programme held on the theme 'Let's keep peace for the students and let's make pens our friends' cum felicitation programme for students who cleared the State Level Mega Mock Test, organised by KMWO at the Manipur Press Club, here, on Saturday.
The mock test was organ ised to encourage the students to deviate from the corruption of the war and to strive for saving the society by using pen, he explained.
"It is high time for all the communities who stand for the territorial integrity of Manipur to unite and fight together to eradicate the Kuki Narco Terrorists from the region," it exhorted.
The event was also attended by DIET Kakching principal K Radhakanta Singh, HERICOUN president Yumkhaibam Surjitkumar Khuman, WASADEV president Rk Tharaksana, Paradise English School Thoubal Okram founder principal N Ranjit and All Manipur Students Guardians' Organization general secretary Sumati Sougrakpam as presidium members.
